Asians Have Feelings Too - Music Video Shoot!

8 ESEA and 1 white person standing in a warehouse. 7 smiling and 2 looking sultry. 2 star shaped balloons.

AHFT will Premiere at my debut solo show - 28th April, 2022 at The Rich Mix, London!

And after about 9 months preparation and planning, this amazing team and I shot the live action sequences for “Asians Have Feelings Too” music video! So far, no fewer than 17 people have been involved in the making of this video.

Pictured above are: Natalie Linh Bolderston, Itsuki Yoshida, Darius Shu, Tuyet Van Huynh, The Mollusc Dimension, Vanessa Ng, Tim Lytc, Lusty Lovelace and Victor Charles.

Also instrumental to this shoot were: Raisa Kabir, Bruce Tang and Chloe Wing (pictured below), Christine Urquhart, Marcin Weremczuck (who took the photo above) and Shay Shay.

Quiplash (Amelia Cavallo and Al Lander) have been consulted for advice on the Audio Described version of the video.

4 people in 3 snapshots on a purple bg. TMD and Chloe Wing (ESEA with dangly gold earrings, neon punk make-up and a teal dress). Raisa Kabir dancing in a purple, maroon & gold sari in the green-screen studio. Bruce Tang (jacket & neon pink eyeliner)

Being in a green-screen studio is pretty surreal!

4 ESEA people: Tuyet Van Huynh (smiling), Tim Lytc (mouth open in joy), TMD and Darius Shu (mouths closed and looking directly)

I look forward to sharing behind-the-scene photos by our on-set photographer, Vanessa.

The next stage is animation and edit! Can’t wait to show you the final outcome and screen it alongside live performance.

It was an amazing experience and I am so grateful to Arts Council England for funding and Theatre Deli for their support.

Remember to save the date to attend the Premiere at my debut solo show - 28th April at The Rich Mix, London!
