5 Mini Music Videos - Welcome to The Mollusc Dimension
Greetings dreamers. After 41 earth years, I made this compilation of mini-music videos for a tentacle-picked selection of tracks from my debut album, “Welcome to The Mollusc Dimension”. I'd like your help to share it. PLEASE SHARE!
Did you know, I'm still almost the one and only British-born East-Asian trans guy on T that I know! I didn't transition for ages because of X, Y, Z, (also P,Q & R).. I was waiting to meet the other me's. Many things keep us well hidden.
The title “Welcome to The Mollusc Dimension” holds a wish to feel a warmer welcome. Where are we welcomed? All the many you's and the many me's?
I didn't press release this because I was afraid of the media. I didn't trust the music press to care. I was and am recovering.
This tough and tender body has housed me for over 15,000 days.
Why do I keeping coming back from the dead to tell you my stories?
This is an album about life, death and the power of imagination and world building.
I’m back to find the other me's and the other you's.
The other BESEA queer trans #nonbinary person.
I believe in possibilities as well as impossibilities.
We are humming with creativity.
I hired Wild, Shaven Raven Designs / Urie Jo, Felix Macintosh, and a harpist called Emily Lai to make this happen. Together, we #MakeMusicWork and I paid them with savings living back at home with my mum, her dog, and a thousand strange memories at a high cost to my mental health TO BUILD THESE WORLDS... It has kept me alive. Who else might feel more alive to enter my worlds?
So...
Here are 5 of 14 of my worlds, my stories.
It is a beginning, a portal especially for queer, trans and intersex folx & QTIBIPOC.
If you feel this, then please SHARE! Help me find these thems!
A big tentacled thank you to everyone for all your support!
Buy this CD or a track in my shop!
PS. This April, I'm DONATING 75% of ALL my Bandcamp shop proceeds (including zines!) to Hackney Chinese Community Services who are supporting East Asian and South East Asian people with anti-Asian hate crime training and other useful resources during the pandemic and beyond.

For anyone whose interested in training to Audio Describe.
Have you heard of Accessibility courses for creating Audio Description run by the excellent Quiplash (highly recommended)? We worked together on Breaking the Spell with Bird la Bird. I intend to join one of their training sessions in the near future!
