Zoom Group Training (Exercise at home)

Training with @takethebigbag helps me regulate. It’s been 3+ years so I wanted to celebrate by sharing a few of the many reasons why I choose to keep coming!

  • Training on zoom cuts out travel energy and expense. Also very convenient if you’re trans or otherwise not so keen on changing rooms.

  • Becca is an experienced, professional trainer and weight lifter. Her attitude to exercise is very much rooted in listening to your body and feeling good rather than results! The exercises can be modified to include injury recovery. I have to say the cardio & cool down stretches are my fav bits.

  • I met Becca at a grassroots event in lockdown. It really helps me to be in spaces led by someone with shared values. 

  • While it’s not a neurodivergent, queer, trans space as such, she is very affirming & supportive.

  • With care responsibilities and working a lot, this is one of the few things I do for myself, for my wellbeing. 

  • I always feel good afterwards. If not feeling great at the start, I notice I feel more energised, calm and motivated to do stuff like make food and rest.

  • According to my notes, I started in August 2021 (!) & since then I’ve had various breaks for injury (occurred outside of class) then returned to train again!
